I wish we had a team competing in this. I was trying to figure out the right four to send. Right does not necessarily mean a winning team. But which four would I send from UConn?
I think I would go:
Ines
Nika
Jana
Aaliyah
So, it is a foreign team. And it might not have enough shooting. I am hoping Jana could provide that. But I think this is the right mix of durable players and players that need some action.

Tennessee needed to send Rikea Jackson if they wanted to win. Darby in particular seems like a questionable choice for this event.
Also, I am surprised Puckett didn’t transfer. Kellie did her dirty last year.

But no Rickea Jackson at least makes me think Creighton has a chance. Seton Hall is a big question mark to me. Since I think they have a totally new team next year. |

Gonzaga had some player name Ejim that Creighton just had no answer for.

Creighton just lost a tough game to Gonzaga 21-19. Creighton fouled too much (7) and Gonzaga hit 2 free throws to win it.
