Easy win. Only sort of close for the early minutes. UConn just a lot more talented and, frankly, better coached. Really liked the intensity.

Lou with 6 ribbies. She's sneaky effective that way. She did that last year as well. When Dorka returns, we'll have 3 players at the 3 spot all of whom are good rebounders, with Aubrey being really exceptional.

That's the final. So what did you think? This team, so far, has been a delight. Losing Paige and Ice, you would reasonably expect hiccups. What has surprised me is the defensive efficiency, which even veteran teams can struggle with, this early. There's a balance, a fluidity, an unselfishness. Players seem to keep their cool, know their jobs, and enjoy the journey: that's huge. And, as a reminder, that's without full participation from Dorka or CD, tho' CD is coming on. I think they're gonna be a lot of fun to watch, certainly have been so far. |

Ducharme has mostly been super ineffective this season. Offense is what she brings. So, if she is struggling in that area.. it is hard to justify keeping her on the court.

Caroline with 23 minutes, so I think we can say that she's pretty much allowed to play.
She was 2-6 from the floor, though both were easy buckets. But she had 3 ribbies which means she's getting in the mix.
A decent start. She's 2nd on the depth charts at the 3 while Dorka is out, 3rd on the charts when Dorka returns. That's okay. It'll give her cover to rebuilt her game.

Makes sense to play her now so that she get's ready for the really tough games. It makes absolutely no sense to punish her on the bench? She's coming off surgery and injuries. |
