Wish I had a better feeling about this You might be right and you might be wrong. But you certainly can be more positive. Or at least not bring me down with your negativity. I live to bring people down, DD! :-)

I live to bring people down, DD! :-) Mission accomplished! :-) Wish I had that power! Seriously, the thing about Sarah isn't that she would just make UConn a better team. So would a lot of players. But if Geno's recent comment about Jana is sincere and accurate, then we are terrifyingly loaded next year and following, regardless. Sarah is, like Paige and a few others, so beautiful to watch. Separate from whether she wears a Husky's uniform next year, I'd just want to see her play as much as possible. Why I'm hoping of course that she comes to Storrs, but preparing myself for the possibility of not having that opportunity.

Sarah is coming to UConn. If it were all about staying close to home or in state, why not eliminate UConn already? Hmmm, good point.

Because she's 18 years old with a million people and probably disagreeing family members in her ear. And you know that how? Her father played for NC State, and she eliminated that school. Her mother played for Harvard and she could have got an offer from them in a heartbeat. Plus her mom works for the Celtics. Sarah doesn't like social media and stayed local in her high school rather than seek some leverage like IMG. Let's give her and her parents credit: they for letting her make up her own mind and her for knowing her own mind. Wherever she goes, she will go because she wants to and for no other reason.

There's a HS championship game on ESPN tomorrow morning at 10am. Looks like ESPN is making Strong's announcement the halftime show. That's actually a good marketing idea.

twitter.com/i/status/1776378554567086471I just love Sarah Strong. If she had gone to Providence College, I would buy season tickets. She is fearless when it comes to forming her own opinions. Hoping it means something good for us, but either way...respect!

Her decision took too long, but she may have timed it perfectly. What better way to cheer up the uconn program who one night had a season ending tough loss, but the very next morning received news that the #1 rated player is coming.
I believe she's coming folks.

Two other forwards are going to Duke.

Two other forwards are going to Duke. Logically, therefore, she wouldn't. But I've come to the conclusion that Sarah walks to the beat of her own drummer. Considerations that other recruits might weigh don't necessarily count with her. Fact is: she'll be a star wherever she goes. She could leave the top program in the country on day 1 and go to the University of Delaware to play volleyball and she'd still be an all-time great college and pro basketball player. Less than an hour from now, we'll discover her thinking.

We got her!
What a great freshman class we’ll have! What a great team!
I’m spending the entire off season praying for perfect health for everyone on the team, including the coaches.

OMG. How do we know? I'm watching the game, waiting for half time. Wasn't it supposed to be then? Was it leaked ahead of time. No matter. This is amazing news. What an incredibly fun team this. Semper: changing the title of the thread again!
