When Southerners are super polite I get very nervous. Could be great experience for our Huskies though.

No need to try to analyze if it is a true “bless your heart” said with sincerity and kindness or the more traditionally southern “bless you heart” said as a cover for what is really meant...derision and insults.

Such great news!3 straight away games, but Providence is a bus ride and time between Arkansas and DePaul.

Mike Neigbors is a good coach, and he is happy to play us, but would be happier to rip our hearts out and beat us. Can't fault him for that. He saw an opportunity and took it. It could be a teaching moment for his team, or it could be more. We will have to wait and see. (I've always thought under that nice exterior of Mike's was more than a little bit of Vic...) Either way, it's a good game and one we need to get Tournament ready.
PS - didn't he coach the Pluminator in college and hook her up with Birdie for playing tips?

I know Mike and he is a great guy. I'm very happy about this. Will be the first time ever I'm rooting against his team, though.

Yes, Kelsey Plum played for Mike when he coached @ Washington! He also coached Chantel Osahor at that same time and she's one of his assistant coaches now: arkansasrazorbacks.com/coache/chantel-osahor/

Thanks, Ken - I much prefer Chantel to the Plum, personally. The Plum always struck me as a lot of great potential that has not come to fruition once removed from college. Could just be IMO, tho.

I like them both, but I never got to meet Chantel.
