UCONN 87-49. PC does have a 6'4 and 6'3, by far the biggest players Liv has had to deal with. If she has trouble with them today that is an ominous sign going forward.

This ain't gonna be pretty. PVD has struggled to score against some average teams, and has given up a couple of big numbers against average teams.
UConn 96-41

I don't think she will have major trouble, but it will be good to see her challenged in size. As for ominous... There aren't a ton of excellent bigs this year. I hope she does come out of this game with some teaching material and areas for focused improvement.

I want to see 4 quarters of quality basketball, and minutes for everyone.
No chance the friars keep our top dogs under 85 or 90. Let's be generous and give PC 48 or 52 points

The team might be a little rusty. Also, we just have to understand the stress that the current world conditions can have, unpredictably.
I'd love to see this team play up to its potential--which is on par with previous outstanding teams. But I suspect it will not do so consistently.

I was a bit apprehensive about that for the Baylor game that wasn't, but I suspect today's game will contain some live ball turnovers leading to bunnies for our faster team.

UCONN by 45, whatever the score. Geno loves his Beasties and will take his foot off the gas at some point. RC roots run deep (unless it's ND).

Thanks, I working my way up to winning the NY Lottery. Now that is what dumb luck looks like. Upperclassmen took a giant step backwards today.

Thanks, I working my way up to winning the NY Lottery. Now that is what dumb luck looks like. Upperclassmen took a giant step backwards today. Another interpretation is that against lesser opposition is the best time to give more minutes to some who will benefit most from actual game time and who haven't had as much opportunity. Would winning by sixty have been as valuable as this blowout win and advancing Anna's confidence or keeping the substitutes engaged and feeling like their contributions are valued? Hard to argue with giving Aubrey her minutes yesterday. Nika, too. Mir advanced as well. Neither Liv nor Chtistyn were bad in their minutes. Perhaps a message was being sent as well. A reminder that more is expected of them than just being Okay.
