UConn's the only team with 3 on the list. Can this fact be a substitute for a national championship game?

I mean, ponder this: when is the last time you went to the bakery and bought 11 donuts? Right!! You know you're gonna buy a dozen; so Geno needs 12 titles!!! 12 months in a year, so 12 titles!! Would you screw up and give your wife only 11 roses??? Of course not; so 12 it is!!!

It will be interesting over the next couple of years to watch the comparison of Paige to Caitlin Clark. Clark is also an astonishing player. Less well-rounded than Paige, but completely "laser focused" on scoring. She's really an amazing and relentless scoring machine.

At which point, we may presume that a baker's dozen will be preferred.

Less well-rounded than Paige, but completely "laser focused" on scoring. She's really an amazing and relentless scoring machine. Caitlin Clark is having a monster season with 9 games in for Iowa! She's playing 31.7 minutes per game and averaging 27.6 ppg, 6.3 assists, 7.1 rebounds, 1.8 steals and an assist to turnover ratio of 1.32!!! She shoots an average of 19.22 times per game @ 47.4%, 38.5% from 3 point range and 85.7% on free throws! Paige is also having a monster season, but she shoots only 13 shots per game while playing 35.1 minutes! She's averaging 18.2 ppg while shooting 55.1% overall, 50% from 3 point range and 73.7% on free throws! Paige also averages 5.2 assists, 6 rebounds, 2.7 steals and has an assist to turnover ratio of 1.63!! Paige is surrounded by better players than Caitlin is with no disrespect to Iowa, and Paige tends to defer more than does Caitlin! I calculated Paiges 'Efficiency Rating' earlier today and it's an excellent 19.2. I'll Do Caitlin's later when I have more time!! Arguments can reasonably be made for both of these amazing young women for the Wooden Award, but a senior or junior with similar stats will more likely win it!! Charli Collier, Rhyne Howard, Dana Evans and a few others are more likely to win this?? We'll see!!

Caitlin's high school tapes are just mind-blowing. I don't think I've ever seen a more offensively-talented guard.

I think only Ari MacDonald has a shot to dethrone her. There are other good candidates, but barring a precipitous crash, one of those two will win the award. Looking down the list, there is no player on there whom I would trade for Paige. We're just seeing the beginnings of something fantastic. If Azzi is half as good as Paige (and some say she may be even better), then UCONN is going to be really, really, really(!!) BAD for the sport. That's B-Breaking standards A-Ascending to new heights D-Defining greatness I cannot wait

I'm a big fan of Aari, although I think she hurt her chances with a less than stellar outing against Stanford recently.
