I think I've seen every pass and bucket Paige has made this year 7 or 8 times at least in all these competing mix tapes. But, yeah I still watch them.

So will she play point or 2 or move back and forth?

keeping my head down and trying to keep my spirits up. Spirits (scotch, gin) help (LOL).
playing with the puppies on nice sunny days like today, working on making fabric shopping bags and other crafty projects on rainy, cloudy days.
glad Anna got a flight home with her sister. Hope she can come back and stays healthy!

So will she play point or 2 or move back and forth? I'm thinking back and forth, particularly if Nika does well. Paige can be a great facilitator at the 2 as well as at PG.

So will she play point or 2 or move back and forth? In the UCONN offense, PB could play PG, SG, or Wing effectively. It will depend on the needs. If Nika is fantastic, Paige can play two or three. But I expect the point will be her home spot. This team will have a full array of options. Nearly every player can play multiple spots.

Who’s gonna be the point guard?
Honestly, that must be my favorite position. I love every kid who plays it and feel bad when she leaves.

Who’s gonna be the point guard? Honestly, that must be my favorite position. I love every kid who plays it and feel bad when she leaves. The candidates are: Evina - experience, size, speed. I think she will be the leading candidate early in the season. Unfortunately, I anticipate she stays only this one year and heads to the WNBA. She will ... and should answer all 2021 questions with a recurring statement about "planning to stay", so don't get distracted. Paige - going to be tough to keep her down, I suspect. Minutes from day one, but she may well crack the starting lineup by January. Nika - PB notwithstanding, she might have been the most exciting commit. I think she gets minutes in every game, but takes a year to get used to the US game and find her range, before making a real mark the following season. Also worthy of mention is that both Williams (exceptional ball skills) and Makurat (ooh la la! passing) have played point in the past. Not the right "home" for either in the long term, but in a pinch.... Also worthy of note, that both will likely play point in the W (reference Gabby). So, spending some time in that role here may be desired.

Back to the original point of this thread...I am slowly getting my serenity back. Settling in to full time remote work, despite the "crisis of the day" issues around COVID-19 as an employee supporting the claims operation of a major WC/Property Casualty insurer. This is a brave/scary new world that is requiring nimble, agile, and creative problem solving on the fly for a situation that no one ever envisioned from an insurance standpoint. Despite my complaints, this kind of crisis problem solving gets my blood flowing with the added benefit of I have not time to be distracted by personal/family situations and problems that I cannot solve anyway.
Feeling a little cooped up because work hours have been long and working through lunch, but it is Friday and downtime for two days after today. I will try to get back into an exercise routine with a "Bullworker" Steel Bow workout unit and long walks outside.
How's everyone else hanging in? Got enough toilet paper?

I'm not much of an outdoor walker, so I miss my gym treadmill. Walking inside is like being a human yoo-yoo, but I do it. Almost done with the Sopranos. Gotta find another multiseason fav fast. Cases have doubled in 3 days in our county. No details about where. Started my Sunday7 AM grocery list. Got the crock pot humming. Bored.

So I finished the Sopranos and that ending still leaves me unsatisfied. But it is what it is.

How's everyone else hanging in? Got enough toilet paper? I went grocery shopping today at what was for me the crack of dawn and was pleasantly surprised to find only a few people in the store. Not much of a problem with social distancing there! although I did skip an aisle when I saw a youngish couple strolling and stopping to ponder what they wanted to get. Everything pretty well stocked. Then I got to the paper products aisle. Not a paper product as far as the eye could see--no toilet paper, no paper towels, no paper napkins, no nothing. What a world.

I was in Central Park, up by the reservoir, earlier today. Lots of people running, walking and biking. Very few wearing ppe. It was a beautiful day and it seemed like there was nothing to worry about. Which, in itself, is a problem. Many people aren't afraid of contacting Coronavirus. And a majority won't have anything more than mild symptoms. For those who are like minded, consider this: About 30,000,000 Americans contact the flew each season with a .1% fatality rate. Coronavirus is more contagious, so let's say, without precautions, that about 50,000,000 would come down with it. Right now it has a fatality rate here of between 1 and 2%. That rate would rise dramatically if those that needed hospitalization couldn't get it because of the sheer number of patients stricken. A 4% fatality rate would result in 2,000,000 dead because of the coronavirus. That's 5 times the number of U.S. soldiers who died in WW2.

Midnight last night we started a 14 day stay at home mandate in Montana. Can go out for groceries and med supplies. Of course, like all such orders it will count on voluntary compliance.

Thursday the Guv announced mandatory stay at home commencing today. That produced a new wave of raiding the shelves at our grocery stores. I'll use a senior hour shopping Sunday morning at 7. Not looking forward to it.

And if you go during those crack o' dawn senior hours, you'll find shelves that have just been stocked. My supermarket had limits on buying eggs and something else, I don't remember what. Not on milk, pasta, or sauce. And of course no paper products to be found. . .
