When I was younger, I only listened to their stuff that made it to Top 40 radio. Recently I have gotten into their concerts and, well, they are really good. Go figure:

My theme song! I call this "the aging of Harley Davidson", but its very well done and is the cleanest track of this glorious Seger cut on YouTube.

For me, listening to what others enjoy either reminds me of music I haven't played in awhile or introduce me to new possibilities.
These guys just grabbed me back in the day. More amazing given that at that time, I didn't have a lot of positive feelings for blue grass or country. That has changed.
Natalie is a Force. Spent some time at Berkley and had a following in Boston:

Listening to a great guitar duo classic tonight, Chester and Lester. Chet Atkins and Les Paul. Wonderful clarity and tone.

One of my recent downloads. Gord Downie was an icon in Canada. He died of cancer in 2016. Quite a few bands have done covers of his band's (Tragically Hip) songs. This is one of my favorites.

One of my all time favorites, especially when he did it live. Less about the music, very much about the lyrics.

Dashon Burton! Was a student in one of my classes at Yale back in the day. Terrific instrument, isn't it?

Is he playing an f-hole parlor acoustic? It has a longer, slimmer body, but sounds very sweet.

Listening to a recent release of previously unreleased Jimi Hendrix cuts it is thoroughly enjoyable. One can only wonder what might have been.
The name of the album release is, “Both Sides of the Sky.”
