Enjoying my "office is closed due to snow" day. Watching the plows from our windows. Watching the snow keep coming, coming, coming.
Grateful to be indoors and warm, reading the board.
Not looking forward to the great dig out of the cars somewhere around dinner time.
But for now, it sure is pretty when I look out the window!

Glad you posted, Chicago. I was wondering how everyone's handling the snow in CT. Yeah, snow days are good. Digging out is not. I keep thinking of it as good exercise.

The only good thing about it is the beat up old pickup truck with the flat tire that was parked on the street across from my house was finally towed. Should have been at least ticketed long ago. Cops knocked on my door this morning and asked if I knew who owned it. Told him no and it had been there for two months. Within 10 minutes a tow truck came and hauled it away.

Well, the great dig out out of the cars has been accomplished....thank heavens our complex hires high school kids to come around and help us dig out while the regular crew plows the spaces. I think we got over 15", as it was well over my knees. Even after they dug out around my car, it still took two guys to push me out to the plowed driveway. At my age, I was very grateful for those kids, let me tell you!
I will be even more appreciative in the morning, when it is back to work time.
The snow is quite beautiful, but the wind is whipping it everywhere, and the temps are dropping. I am thinking about a comfort food dinner tonight...maybe scrambled eggs and hash.
Maybe I will go on line to the Courant and watch Doyle's UCWBB podcast that went up this morning.
