"First of all, if you didn't vote you have no opinion," Auriemma said. "If you didn't vote and you're out there protesting, you are worse than the people you are protesting against. If you voted and you didn't like the way the vote turned out, that's the country we live in. You go, you cast your ballot and then you have to accept the results. "He was rightly criticized when he was asked if he would accept the results of the election and he said, 'I'll let you know.' Everyone criticized him for that. Now you can't be that person that doesn't accept the results. It doesn't mean we have to agree with it. It doesn't mean we have to condone it. We have to accept it. We have to deal with it."
What really appalls me is this statistic: 231.6 million eligible registered voters. Number who voted: 134.5 million. That means 97.1 MILLION voters did not vote in 2016. Geno's point is very apt.
You get the government you vote in. If you didn't vote.....

That always bothers me, especially this election. With those 97.1 million voters we could have put someone decent in besides either Trump or Clinton. I agree too, the election is over. We had our chance. Not gonna change now. We don't have to like it, but we have to accept it for now. We can make changes at the midterms and in 4 years.
