As if the return from my tropical vacation was not enough of a shock to the system, the jetway at Bradley International terminal could not get to the plane. So they brought stairs (!) after about a half hour sitting there on the plane. Now...it would have been cold if I had a coat and was wearing jeans. But, alas, I was not wearing either of them. I was in thin capris, and a rather thin sweatshirt I was fortunate to find in the Cancun airport. Couldn't zip the hoodie...they didn't a big enough size to cover my girth, but at least my arms were covered. Still...it was 7 degrees with a wicked wind blowing snow in ribbons across the tarmac. It had to have been like minus teen-something. 50 feet felt like a quarter mile! BRRRRRR!
I will warm up tomorrow watching the UConn vs. South Carolina game.
Good to be home...work next week will be HELL. There is a price to be paid for two weeks in the warm sun when you are not retired.

Chapette - hope the game warms your heart....you will need to turn the furnace way up to warm the rest of you!!
Hope two weeks in the sun refreshed you...and that the thought that it will be 55 (altho rainy) on Tuesday makes today's temps more bearable.
You sure are right...it is &%#@* cold!
