Smith was the center on Butler's amazing Final Four teams that lost to Duke in 2010 and UConn in 2011. Sadly, it sounds like death is imminent. His wife announced his passing on twitter: Samantha Smith @samantha44smith Jan 12 Indianapolis, IN Andrew peacefully passed away in his sleep and in my arms as I told him I loved him this morning. Love you always, Smith.
