Texas drops, and South Carolina picks up all of their #1 votes. Baylor and Louisville move up 2 spots each to the 3 and 4 spots respectively, the #4 spot is also held by Texas Notre Dame drops 3 spots and Maryland jumps up 4 Oregon St. moves into the top 10 and Kentucky holds steady at 10 1 South Carolina (28) 2 Connecticut (7) 3 Baylor 4 Texas 4 Louisville 6 Tennessee 7 Notre Dame 8 Maryland 9 Oregon St 10 Kentucky Full List

I dont think Duke has been that low in a poll since 1998 Yeah, dropped 3 places to #16 Wonder is the transfer news affected some of the voters.

Probably not...... guess it has more to do with the margin of the loss to FSU. It was a closer game than the margin would indicate. Thats one thing about these polls..... voters dont watch the games.... they just look at the box scores

Thats one thing about these polls..... voters dont watch the games.... they just look at the box scores If I read correctly, Duke lost by 16 to a ranked team and dropped three places, including a drop below Mississippi state, who lost by 16 to an unranked team and only dropped one spot. If the Duke game was closer than the margin suggests, was the MS State even closer? That's not much of a drop after a double digit loss to an unranked team.
