UConn isn't a top 4 team. I'm glad I was told so I won't expect much.
Actually it's not a bad video as far as learning a bit about his top 10 teams. The rankings will take care of themselves.

Interesting...lots of great teams out there for sure. Gonna be tough to win no. 12 this year...hope we can do it!

I think the college kid doing Maxpower 247 doesn't know what he's talking about. If he is beyond College I think he is over his head professionally. It's not a lock UCONN will be a FF team of course. But imo several points he doesn't understand or is way off-base. The only leeway I'll give him is if he doesn't believe there is much separation between Paige and the other elite team's top players or he thinks Azzi won't be that good. Which I don't agree with other than maybe Juju. Maybe but probably no. But he didn't bring those points up. The reason why UCONN's isn''t #1 is because of the questions of their bigs. But out of the top 4 as a presason ranking considering Paige is Paige and Azzi is near the form of her early soph year considering Griffin is coming back? No way in hell. News flash to the College Kid. Not every team has "Lisa Leslie" in the post. |

It will be decided on the court over the season. Every team has t prove themselves. Currently, everyone is 0-0, and every team has potential. Well, not every team, but you know what I mean.

I have no problem with Uconn at 5. We all know Edwards numbers were not replaced. Huskies will eventually have a great backcourt. The frontcourt is unproven. Geno doesn't help with his typical back and forth about players abilities and injuries. Ayanna seems to now be a " ways" off as I predicted last month. I take everything he says these days with a grain of salt. I just want to see who starts on the court. I will play close attention to what rotations work best together. I was not crazy about his remarks regarding playing players simply because they have some experience. I want the best players available on the court. Today is a day to just enjoy !

It was his points because he had them at 5. In particular, Texas. Maybe he is just looking for click-bait. But he highlights Rory Harmon and Madsion Booker, But what did he say about Azzi Fudd? He summed her and the other guards (other than Paige) together. From what we know of Azzi when healthy, what we saw of her in her frosh year and then early her soph year, and from what the staff (I'm including CD) says about Azzi, that she should be lumped in with the other guards? Harmon comes back after an injury as Fudd does, but it's Harmon who is singled out. Yet if you are going to speak of duos who better than Paige and Azzi? And by the way, Azzi already TORCHED Texas and while there was no Booker or Harmon she torched Texas WITHOUT Paige. And you just ad this up with his additional comments of "He'll fight anyone that ND doesn't have best backcourt . . ." And his insane comments that were just laughable to paraphrase that "NO ONE would have a CHANCE if Watkins came back . . . " It's just that he dismisses Azzi in which it seems he wasn't following her early, especially with Texas, then he speaks of fighting in support of NDs backcourt, and "no one would have a chance" Vs SoCar; and listening to his voice it just sounded to me he is trying so hard to raise it in a manner to sound authoritative. And his take between Sarah, Koval and Edwards. I think he seems to minimize Sarah vs these other 2 the way a young kid would. While he could be right about UCONN not making the FF, his reasons to me seem as if he is a College Kid just learning the game or just doesn't understand the game. |
