The Cardinal now 3-0 in the PAC 12. Thompson and Orrange led the way with 15 and 14 pts, respectively, and made big shots down the stretch.
Stanford's offensive numbers from last night:
FG%: 33.8% (23-68) 3FG%: 25.9% (7-27) FT%: 58.3% (7-12) Assts: 8

What is interesting to me is that they almost lost.

I watched the game. The Huskies started slow, but took a lead at 10:33 in the first half. They then went almost six minutes without a point. Despite that drought, they took a 2 point lead to halftime. They then forgot how to shoot, and didn't score for the first four minutes of the second half, while the Cardinal were on a 9–0 run.
Still, they were down only two in the final minute, when Roberson banked in a three pointer (i.e. misfired and got lucky). That wasn't the game winner, but it took the wind out of the sails.
Last year Washington won at home, then lost badly in Maples, we'll see how the return match up works this year.
