It's going to be tough to get Strong. I didn’t like Kara when she played for Tennessee, but I loved her as an analyst and she is turning out to be a good coach. Strong will get good coaching wherever she goes. But Geno would be a better option. |

Guess if UConn advances there will be no rematch with OSU. They have been eliminated from the tourney.

I think this a good break for UConn. Duke lost 11 games this year including a double-digit loss to a conference tail-ender, Clemson, an early loss to Davidson, who finished 8-10 in the weak Atlantic 10 Conference, and they lost by 17 to Louisville, who is definitely having a down year.
Meanwhile, the #1 seed in UConn's bracket, USC, is tournament untested and faces, I think, tougher competition in the next two rounds than UConn.
I have always liked Kara Lawson even though she does hail from the Evil Orange Empire. She did really nice work with Rebecca Lobo when they shared color commentary duties a few years ago.

Okay I don't believe what I just saw and I just saw it. Ohio State had hit a three in 371 consecutive games and with time winding down they were 0 – 8 on the day. Finally, finally Jacy Sheldon nailed the three to keep the streak alive and preventing what would've been a nightmare day.

Kara is building something special. She has a young roster and with Louann Battiston, Jenessa Cotton, Toby Fournier and Arianna Roberson coming in next year they will only get better. If they land Strong they will really start making noise.

I'm the other way - I REALLY wanted tOSU to lose. Don't like the team, don't like their coach. Kara is someone I respect and wish well - unless she is playing against UConn. Then all bets are off.

I'm not sure I can dislike a coach,player and team more than Mulkey, Reese and LSU. I really want them to lose. Too much attitude from a team that just showed up in the scene. 1 and done (championships) I hope. |

I want LSU to lose too. I think I have an unhealthy level of animosity toward Kim, Angel and the rest. And I am even rethinking if I should change my favorite color from purple to something else. Of course national flag blue is my favorite color during basketball season.

And when it's Laitner, Lawson & Duke, Lawson isn't liked enough by me to make up for the other two. |
