I went to the Auburn Arizona game last night with a friend.
We were yelling "go UA"!
It was a fun game to watch although that was gravy. We were sitting right next to the Auburn section so why talk to someone who turned out to be the assistant to the head coach. (Not assistant coach but administrative assistant).. Not surprisingly they were very animated in their support. While we were talking she mentioned that Rosemarie Ragel was the trainer for the team. She wasn't on the bench at the time we were talking, but a few minutes later I looked down in saw a head of red hair and headed down to say hello. We had a nice chat. Some of you know she was with the Connecticut Sun, but she's originally from Alabama and she accepted the job in Auburn to be closer to family.
I was also hoping to say hello to Adia Barnes, which wasn't easy because when I went down to the war to wait for her the yellow jackets were telling me that I couldn't stand there. Luckily I timed it right as she was heading over to her bench and we had a nice chat.
The game was close early on when Arizona opened up a double-digit lead which grew to 17, but Auburn hung in there and cut the lead to five so it was an exciting game to watch. Arizona advances to play Syracuse.

I seriously considered talking to her about coming back, but when she explained that her decision to go to Auburn was to be closer to family, I decided not to bring up the subject. Sorry, I didn't share your theory — can you remind me?

Glad you got to talk with Adia. She’s a really nice lady! I met her in Seattle during Birdie’s rookie season. Hop I get the chance to chat with her tomorrow 😊
