Watching the Vandy game and re-thinking how far down the rankings parity has traveled. High school level at best.

Watching the Vandy game and re-thinking how far down the rankings parity has traveled. High school level at best. I wanted to dismiss your assessment, but, after watching it for several minutes... I don't know if it's high-school level, but, it's a big step down to what we're used to. Not pretty.

Abby back in the game and makes a terrific baseline jumper.

Great to see Vandy and Shea advance. The first game was about as ugly as I can tolerate. Sacred Heart couldn't throw the ball in the water from a row boat.

Happy for Shea, but this is the first time Columbia was ever in the tournament and I was pulling equally for them. Columbia has traditionally been the worst Ivy athletically and has recently made strides.

Watching the Vandy game and re-thinking how far down the rankings parity has traveled. High school level at best. Interesting take. I had a different take although it's a case of everything is relative. I watched the Blue Hose and the Pioneers and it was painful to watch the execution (or lack thereof). Then I watched the Vandy game. It brought back memories of going to high school games where the JV would play first, then the varsity would come out and I have vivid memories of watching the varsity players come out onto the floor just after the JV teams left and being stunned at the difference in quality of play, athleticism and overall demeanor. That's how I felt when I saw the Vandy Columbia game start. No, I didn't watch either team and worry about UConn facing them but there was a world of difference between the 16 seeds and the 12 seeds

right now (Friday @6:30) Baylor is teaching Vandy how to play the game. It's sad, but great to see Shea.
