This list--in which UConn does not (yet) appear--shows that searching for international recruits is now a very big part of the WCBB game. UConn may have been an early adaptor, but the competition is now fierce. OTOH, a number of these players don't seem impressive. For example, Awa Fam Thiam, at #6, underwhelms.... www.worldexposurereport.com/2024globalrankings

I'd still like to know how Geno let Kuval get away to Irish.

I'd still like to know how Geno let Kuval get away to Irish. You seem to be saying that she was UConn's to lose. For all the posts here and TOB one might get the idea she was but I don't remember reading about her saying even one word about UConn. To me the whole Koval attraction was that she played relative close to Storrs. Maybe someone knows if she ever visited? I'm actually glad to see NDame is signing elite players. While it's nice to watch UConn win against anyone it's the "worthy opponents" who get me excited. NDame will be a title contender if Miles comes back 100%. It would make kicking their asses even sweeter.

I don't know how intensive WER's efforts were as far as international recruits but Gandy Malou-Mamel is their No 2 in 2026.

No different than Koval, although Long Island can seem like a foreign country after struggling to drive through NY to get there.
