My apologies for missing DD's early deadline for updates.
I have updated the milestones, nothing earth shattering it will appear in his next column.
It won't surprise anyone that I'm taking this hard.
It's hard to be positive but throughout to observations which is the best I can do with the material I'm given.
For about two hours, I will record was the same as Tennessee's, but then they played a team much weaker than UConn and lost by a lot.
Before you could blink it was 15-3 in the first 2 minutes and 41 seconds.
That means we were down twelve which is where we ended which means other than that numbing opening almost 3 minutes he played them even. I don't want to make too much of that — playing a decent team even is not our overall goal but it's something.
And while no one gives trophies for playing the toughest schedule, if you read my recent report with Southern playing the toughest schedule in the country, They played 323 Northwestern LA yesterday so no longer claim the toughest schedule in the country. As a weird aside, they lost by double digits, so playing that tough schedule didn't seem to prepare them for playing weaker opponents. Not what I would've hoped for.
