The season is over so I don't get it. Of course that is nothing new.

You can follow her to your heart's content (I do): www-bkzabiny-cz.translate.goog/mexicko-francouzska-krev-posili-zabinsky-perimetr/?_x_tr_sl=cs&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=scThe website provides the Czech to English translation. The burning question I have (I have several....) is: how badly was she injured in those last couple of games? I've walked around with a torn meniscus (X2) for weeks prior to surgery and you'd never have known. Was there a clear reason for the surgery or the extensive - season missing - rehab. Although she looked fine the night of the draft, obviously she wasn't. I follow her social media accounts and saw the scar and rehabbing: it wasn't pretty. Did Geno know how badly she was injured and she played anyway vs Ohio State? Did LLS just shake it off and tough it out right to the point that the Wings said No, you need surgery before you play again? Who paid for that surgery? UConn? Wings? I think besides Lou and her family, Geno and his staff, and Coach Trammell, very few have all the info. In any event she's doing okay with The Frogs.

That's a question my friend we may never have the answer to. I mentioned in a recent post that Lou "gutted out" the last month of the season and those 4 games during the tournament. She was hurting. Lou proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is a true warrior. She has my eternal gratitiude and respect. Lou knew that Geno and her teammates were depending on her going into March. They knew WITH HER they had a chance. WITHOUT her, they had no chance of winning the championship. Lou put the team on her back against Ohio State for 30 minutes and posted a game high 25 points. Only 3 UConn starters scored in double figures that day. Edwards and Muhl combined for 7 pts, the bench contrubited 2. Box score: www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/boxscore/_/gameId/401528018
