Well, leave Laimbeer out of it, he is gone.
It is Nikki Fargas that is president and Natalie Williams is the GM (and Hammon the coach). I'm assuming she is bitching about Fargas and Williams and assorted staff.
Don't like Fargas, don't know enough about Williams to comment.

I'm assuming she is bitching about Fargas and Williams and assorted staff. Don't like Fargas, don't know enough about Williams to comment. True, he has left, but he instilled much of the culture there and he was a total ahole to Moriah. But your point is well-taken that women did this to Dearica; if her allegations are true. I have no reason to doubt her, but more will come out from the investigation. You're probably correct about the Fargas / Williams link to the allegations. From the tweets and other writings, there's likely one or two more and a player whom Dearica felt abandoned her. Some of the promises made to Dearica were from last summer when she signed an extension of her contract for less than she could have requested. The reason management would want her to sign for less is so they'd have more $$ to sign other talent. I don't know what those promise were, but Dearica apparently felt she was an important part of the team. I doubt she was planning on the pregnancy, but it appears a few of the Aces bosses held that against her? The true irony of this is also that, for the past 2 years, the ACES have promoted their 'family values' and featured Dearica and her daughter in their marketing. While I recognize their title and their talent, I'm no Aces fan.

Interesting, but nothing new. DH hasn't shared much in the way of specifics. Hard to tell at this point whether the base is differences in interpretation and hard feelings, or specific unacceptable behavior by management. One aha moment was the question of value. The Aces gave up a key rotation player (allstar, 6th woman, etc) in her prime on a recently-negotiated and team-favorable contract for a throw-in player who may not even remain in LV very long. AZB is one of the players that may get caught up in that "must be there for training camp or else" rule. She is more expensive than Kiah Stokes, and might not even make the team. Still, the Aces threw in first round pick as a sweetener. That part doesn't seem to make any sense.

You've gotta get every 'promise' in writing as a part of your contract or it may end up being nothing at all? The other interesting thing is that AZB really hasn't performed nearly as well in the WNBA as has Hamby? Aces lose in this hastily assembled trade, despit AZB's size? Assuming her pregnancy goes well, Hamby might just be starting in LA by mid-season?
