I guess this is not a beer place. Love beer. Haven't tried Heady Topper. How is it ? For ale I usually drink Dogfish Head.

Bell's Hop Slam is a personal favorite but like Heady it is an IPA, not a Pale Ale.

haven't tried it, but would love to. Most pale beers are too sweet for me, but you get some nice ones with a little zip in them....

$75 a case. Just over $3 a bottle. (The Yankees charge $9.50 for a bud light)

Anyone ever "had a Heady?"? One of my sons loves the stuff(8%!!)...gives it out as a gift. My other son is a Bud Light guy....go figure. Lagers for me.

For a Pale Ale Victory's Headwaters is good.

Dogfish is yummy, always had a soft spot for Flying Dog Pale Ale (aka Air Puppies), but, Lagunitas Sumpin'-Sumpin' is my current fave.

A winebear drinking beer, now I have heard everything.
Watch out for that Dogfish Head 120.
BTW, Branford now has three craft breweries going: SBC, Stoney Creek, and Thimble Islands.

Oh, I like a good beer now and then, too - in fact, I've brewed my own for a few years now. Currently working my way through a batch of Scottish Brown Ale I made this spring. And, you're right about the Dogfishhead 120 - not a beer to hurry through, or slam a couple back after playing softball. A beer to savor, and ponder - kinda like an Amarone.
