Thanks for posting the link for us so quickly, msf22b. I also noted DoggyDaddy mentioned in his blog this sophomore forward was a former UConn recruiting target. Best wishes for Taya Reimer in her future.

Bummer for them. We need teams capable of beating TN.

Yeah, bummer for them. She was good, and developing into even better.

Not good new for ND.
Edit, I read the ND statement, which doesn't say very much. Anyone checking the ND message boards to see what they think is up?

Bret McCormick tweeted she's transferring, citing the very popular and always reliable "multiple sources."
Bret McCormick@asgr1995 Taya Reimer 6-3 F Hamilton Southeastern HS IN is transferring from Notre Dame per multiple sources.

Don't you wonder where she will go? I'm sure the team was very distracted last night by all this.

According to the latest on the ND board "Reimer's still on the team" "..per WSBT's sports director, quoting a team spokesperson. Her status for Sunday's BC game is uncertain." www.ndnation.com/boards/index.php?mcgraw

What a bunch of sad-sacks on that ND board. She needs space, good news she's still part of the team, etc. What? While Reimer is contemplating her navel and going to the movies her team traveled to Miami and lost a conference game. I suspect these dramas play out more than we know but come on. She reportedly told the team of her intentions to transfer. Can this realistically end with a big never-mind? That's a tough one.
Edit: The South Bend Trib article from this morning mentions hate-mail Reimer has received after the team wore the "I Can't Breathe" shirts before the December game against Michigan. Reimer was team leader on the decision to wear the shirts. There is now speculation that her talk of transferring is related to the backlash she has received after the Michigan game. This from the SB Trib article: The backlash from the decision to wear the shirts produced an uneasiness among fans and area police agencies. Reimer herself was the victim of hate mail, including being sent photos of burning women’s basketball T-shirts.
I hope this is not the reason Reimer is considering a transfer. If so, this is something she and the coaches should be able to work out.

The latest from Muffet: Reimer is home working out but can play Sunday if she wants to. Her decision. Is she considering a transfer? "I don't know what she's thinking about right now..." Here's the reporter's twitter feed: twitter.com/CarlDeff

I just want to say that I'm so happy with how the fans that post here have handled the possible Reimer transfer. Unlike the other board, no one is posting about her political stance.
And no one on this board feels the need to call McGraw "Muppet" over and over. Thank you!
