There-there (hehe), Kiki. If Coach CC is at risk, you can change your mind. Seriously, Cori isn't going anywhere. I agree that she's a lot of condiments in a bun (snicker) with no burger, but she's a USA coach, keeps her program in the news, is good with a mic in her face, and draws great recruits. They're not winning it all, but they are usually ranked. |

Gertrude Stein described a city to the north of LA (Oakland) as there's no there there. Not that Close won't be there, but that the program will be in shambles...sort of like how Stein thought of Oakland.  |

Thank you DD, Phil and David for another great blog! I mentally stutter when I write / think "blog" in this context, because what you guys do is so much more than that!! Always insightful with plenty of high IQ WCBB info, some family pics and news, the ironies of the polls and a peek into the hollow skulls of our Lady Vol Nation fans!! My favorite chuckle from your post today is the one Vol fan who believes the ESPN wizard Mechelle Voepel's high assessment of their team should boost them in the polls??? Just 1 short week ago, Voepel was ready to give the NCAA Tournament trophy to Maryland....LOL?? |
