After 4 games,plus (points rebounds steals blocks assists) minus (missed shots, fouls, turnovers): Bueckers 99, Westbrook 54, Nelson-Ododa 53, Williams 47, Fudd 29, Edwards 21, Juhasz 5, Ducharme 4, Muhl 1, McLean 1, Gabriel -3. A really great game is plus 20, Paige has a 41, 22,21, Christyn has a 33, Evina has a 24.

Thanks, Spider. Did you add up all four components to get these numbers?

Added all 5 good things, subtracted all 3 bad things. You could argue weighting differentially but this is simpler and gives a good sense generally of how well players played. Aaliyah clearly the disappointment so far

Or maybe you meant all four games? Yes

Are these scaled to 40 minutes?

Are these scaled to 40 minutes? I'm going to guess definitely not, but ask and ye shall receive: Bueckers 27.3 Westbrook 16.7Nelson-Ododa 18.8 Williams 13.3 Fudd 14.5 Edwards 10.5 Juhasz 3.5 Ducharme 8.2 Muhl 1.3 McClean 17.8
Mir McClean is obviously a statistical outlier, as she played well in only one appearance for less than 3 minutes. I left Gabriel off because there's no need to magnify a negative and, like McClean, her minutes are low enough to make the math statistically weird.

We all know that Liv is a terrible player.

We all know that Liv is a terrible player. Not terrible but she definitely chokes in big games. Go back and look at our losses the last couple of years and see what she contributed. Dorka is not contributing much so far either so here we are again. Who will step up against teams with talented bigs? The biggest shock is Nika. As much as I would love to place our poor play at ONO's feet, Nika may be our biggest problem. Her body language and energy level is just awful and it has bled into her performance. I will say it again, something is not right in the program.

An alternative way to consider your observation above is that Liv is a critical player on this team, and when good teams have stopped her or she's had an off day, this team has not been able to win without her significant contributions. As for Nika, we haven't seen her best yet this year. Injuries? Overthinking? Teams have figured out how to bother her? Off court issues? Whatever it is, she hasn't found her footing yet. Took a while last year. I am betting on her to come around.
