We were all hoping with the addition (re addition?) of UCONN the BE as collective would slowly but surely improve. While just seeing the game scores without knowing the context, injuries, illness, etc., early results are not good, send your children and grandchildren out of the room not good. So far overall record is 30-24, that's pretty much the highlight. DePaul played Arizona tough and did beat Shea (damn it). Marquette lost by 16 to Colorado and 25 to Georgia (70-45!!!). St John's lost to St Bona by 12 and Charlotte by 18, came close against PSU, only lost by 5. Xavier lost by 20 to Memphis and 35 against Utah. Came close against the Ohio division of Miami, lost by 4. Creighton has been a pleasant exception, they lost close ones against Drake and the Cornhuskers and beat S Dakota State which is usually pretty good. G town lost to Davidson by 15 and Columbia by 10. SH lost to Fordham by 19 and the California division of USC by 10. Villanova lost to Princeton by 17 (Carla, you go girl), the Brenda's by 21 and Temple by 6. PC has lost to Yale by 6, RI by 13, BC by 12 and UMASS by 18. Saving the least for last, Butler. Unfortunately not Rhett, he wouldn't give a damn about these guys either. Lost to the Hoosiers by 23, Western Illinois by 27, (They must be tough, their nickname is Leathernecks), Ball State by 14, Austin Peay, (not a misprint they really did lose to AP) by 3 and S Ill Edwardsville by 13. Is Butler not located in Indiana, the so called "Basketball Capital of the World?" Good grief. That makes Storrs the Basketball Capital of the Galaxy right? Goodness Gracious Sakes Alive the league we're in is hideous. Maybe WBB should have gone independent like football cause this is really just hideous. Oh, no significant wins, the wins unless already mentioned were against teams that must recruit off a Spencerport street corner. How bad is that? Well, Brenda wouldn't schedule those teams, is that bad enough for you? Cameron Brink and Prechtel felt fine till they peeked at the BE composite schedule and results. Bleed blue.
