But not to be snarky (too late!) and I know that Mrs. P was trying to walk back the comments, but it's really hard to believe that any shortcomings in UConn's academic environment can be addressed at Arkansas.

You might consider that the UConn academic scene was too demanding.

You've heard of the Harvard of the West right? This is the Arkansas of the Arkansas. Very pretty state, very friendly people, at least the ones near the interstate. I-40 is the extent of our Arkansas experience. This pick just makes Mom look worse. Alexa wrote that her God Sister is an Arkansas assistant. I don't get out much but I did not know God Sister was a thing.

Yeah, I remember long ago one of us said how great it would be if we got both Bargers. And now they are together. It's going to be fun to call their games,for sure.

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but I love the fact that this forum is mostly politics free.
I love to debate politics, but I like to keep my sports and politics separated.

We do strive to keep it that way. Not always easy, but you contributors do a good job of policing yourselves. One occasionally slips through...but unless it starts to blow up, I try to ignore them. |
