Would like to give a sharp poke in the ribs to whomever does the TV deals for the Battle of Atlantis. Men's games are ALL on ESPN channels. None of this FloHoops nonsense. Grrrrr.

Yeah; if they really want to promote and grow women's college basketball, put them on a major network besides FloHoops!!!!!

They want to make money, not promote. Men's basketball gets more viewers. The viewers it gets buy expensive things, not Depends. The men's games get more advertising money.
ESPN covers big games and a few others to virtue signal. Thinking ESPN cares is like thinking a politician cares about what they say they care about.

They want to make money, not promote. Men's basketball gets more viewers. The viewers it gets buy expensive things, not Depends. The men's games get more advertising money. ESPN covers big games and a few others to virtue signal. Thinking ESPN cares is like thinking a politician cares about what they say they care about. That's been the mantra for decades, but the UCONN women had more viewers than roughly 80% of men's teams last year. A few other schools also get top audiences. When they get played where it isn't a struggle and/or an extra charge... the women hold their own. When the WNBA moved from scattered specialty networks to ESPN, more people watched... AND more people came to arenas and advertisers took notice.
