Amihere is really, really a baller. She'll be an incredible WNBA player when she's completely free to play her game.
I've had sort of funny feelings about Caitlin Clark after watching her a lot in the U-19 this summer. She's so dominating that she completely controls the offense and may actually be disrupting its rhythm. I thought Azzi's play actually suffered as a result. Paige, on the other hand, is fully within the UConn flow. That's Geno's greatness and why I always thought Sabrina would have been even better still had she gone to UConn (not possible, I know).

You know that they have been roasting Shea on Volnation and making fun of her like crazy. I hope she comes back to bite them big time.

Agree with hoping she takes her Commodores and vanquishes the Lady Vols. |

I was so rushed to put together a post for DoggyDaddy, I failed to emphasize the whole motivation for the post.
Two coaches with Uconn connections are in debut seasons. Shea Ralph in her first head coaching job at Vanderbilt, and Marissa Moseley, not a debut as an HC, but her first season at Wisconsin.
While you can tell by looking at the list, both of those coaches won their debut games.

There is a lot of bitterness among Vol fans for anything to do with Vandi. I remember back on The Summitt during game threads of the Vandi game there was a constant flow of nasty comments, not only about the team, about the Vandi fans in the stands. So Shea may just be caught up in it. But little do they know that even if Shea knew it would just become motivation. The Summitt used to be loaded with bully types. I find Vol Nation a much much tamer environment. |
