Just by watching the Live Stats I am going to assume this is not beautiful basketball? We're giving up way too many 3's!! |

Apparently whatever defense adjustments were made after the Arkansas game didn't include defending the 3 point shot. Are ONO and Edwards still on the bench?

On the bright side at this pace they will win by 20+, the bigs aren't fouling and if it weren't for a couple of hot 3 point shooters it would be a blow out.

Interesting note, ESPN play by play is about 20-30 seconds ahead of the radio broadcast. Gophers won't be shooting 60% from 3 point land in 2d half. I hope. Go Blue.

24 points per quarter (until he calls off the huskies). That's the scoring target against an unranked team. They're only one off that at the half. It doesn't have that pretty quality, but it's okay with a lot of people cycling through.
Killing MN with backdoor passes. A few too many turnovers.
However defensively, that figure is allow 16 points. Minnesota is only five ahead of that schedule, but they have hit ten threes at 60% accuracy. They're good, but no chance they'll keep that up. A few adjustments will help. Nothing about this game feels like there is a risk of an upset.
Caroline made one very nice move and didn't get the ball. She didn't seem to even consider putting up a three. Still looks nervous.
Azzi looks more comfortable. Still a little static. Still forcing the shot a little, but she's getting open and getting good shots off. Defense is ... not there yet
They're dogging Paige, but she's not looking for a shot very much, only 4 attempts
Christyn and Evina look great

They can't stop Christyn. 26 points already. Aaliyah looking more like last season. Settling in. Seems like she's playing the 5 and Liv the 4 most of the time
