Wondering, Phil, whether some schools (Tenn) distributes some free tickets to students that are counted as "sold" even if those students never both to attend.

I don't know that for certain, but I suspect some schools do that. I'm in favor of schools doing creative marketing, but fans of Tenn (not Tenn itself) have tried to throw their attendance in our face, which prompted me to do some investigation a few years ago, and find out the facts were different than the claims.

A common thread with their claims on almost anything. Especially when it involves UConn. I go over there occasionally, but their over the top claims and out right lies about Geno and UConn are too much for me. Many of them continue to live on their past glory days and still, even after 11 championships, have the attitude that Tennessee will always be THE face of women's college basketball and UConn or anyone else just can't live up to their HISTORY. Emphasis on history...past.

I know that deficit pretty well and I know where UConn puts its money: into academics...unlike Tennessee. UConn's academic budget is really, really enlightened, unlike the Tenn posters.
