First of all Charlie is just a snake oil salesman. On November 5 ESPN listed their preseason picks for player of the year.
Here were the pick :
Barnes : Haley Jones
Creme : Nalyssa Smith
Hurd : Aliya Boston
Voepel : Aliya Boston.
So how is it that the current player of the year gets no mention from these so called experts ? I listen to most WCBB experts with a grain of salt. Once in a while we need some analysis from the men's side.

First of all Charlie is just a snake oil salesman. On November 5 ESPN listed their preseason picks for player of the year. Here were the pick : Barnes : Haley Jones Creme : Nalyssa Smith Hurd : Aliya Boston Voepel : Aliya Boston. So how is it that the current player of the year gets no mention from these so called experts ? I listen to most WCBB experts with a grain of salt. Once in a while we need some analysis from the men's side. I'm on record as saying it won't be Paige, because there will be Paige-fatigue. But someone--chicagogg?--pointed out that Stewie had been POY 3 straight years. Still, Paige won it her first year. There's a tendency just to rename the award after her and make her ineligible for it...that sort of thing. What they say in cycling hors categorie. |

Most of these sports guru typewriter-tapper-ons were the kids in college who dropped out after their first tests; or switched their majors from Comparative Basket Weaving to Physical Education .............
