It sure seems like a done deal, but you just never know 'til you know. Espinoza-Hunter, Park-Lane , Maddy Siegrist and a panel already sick of UConn having joined the NBE.

My pick for second in the voting? Fudd. Like Geno said, we won't see her scoring 30 in November. But notice he doesn't discount December and beyond. Geno has made some unique comments about her. "College ready as a high school sophomore" "Pro-ready footwork as an entering freshman". "The most fundamentally complete player he ever saw coming out of high school and thank you to her parents"
And as potent as UConn looks to be from the arc what will be their strength in top games is the mid range abilities of Bueckers and Fudd. We saw what Bueckers did in the paint and Fudd is reputed to have the better midrange game of the two. Like Geno said, 30 pts isn't going to happen in November but a double double or two wouldn't surprise me. Fudd is so much more than a 3 pt shooter. I expect to see Fudd fill the box score a lot like Bueckers. I'll go out on a limb and say that this year's backcourt is what will win a title this year. And even though they will lose the 2 seniors the back court will be historically good in 2023. Bueckers Fudd Ducharme Mühl (Rice?) They may not win every year but this group is going to provide serious entertainment for the next few years.
