And now a long time to rebuild, and no playing over seas.... The irony of Kia's injury is that she's one of the few who didn't play overseas recently! She had / has a Canadian TV gig which both paid her and kept her busy! Both she and Stewie (foot) will be rehabbing during the off-season. |

Among the tops of my list of great athletes and human beings. As the Merc head to the finals that is adding salt to the wound I'm sure. Good thoughts to you Kia.

It's a very small thing--and maybe a dumb barometer--but after home games, Kia took the greatest of pleasures in throwing UConn t-shirts into the crowd. She never threw one to me, but I didn't take offense.  She really likes people and vice-versa. |
