Interesting that the 2010 Team (the one Randy quit on the first time) was honored yesterday at the game. Certain it was long planned that those 18 players and their families were coming to the game. So why couldn't their former coach (and at that time our currrent coach) postpone his departure by one more game? Also, Coach Spanos sadly lost his father to the virus just after he was appointed to fill Randy's slot opened by retirement/resignation/whatever. My point? Edsal the Edsel walked (again) on his former players, and his current players. Also can't believe Randy was unaware about Coach Spanos father being so ill. It looks like the Randy channel is on 24/7/365. Everyone associated with the football program deserved better from Randy, IMHO. Should have never brought him back. I was angry when I heard he was being hired again. Not really surprised he bailed like he did. For all his “inspirational” quotes, he let this team down not once but twice. That shows his (lack of) character.
