The Daily Campus calls Azzi and Paige 2 "generational talents" on one team. And Caitlin Clark is another, and Ashlynn Shade will be another. Generations are around 15 minutes these days....

Bueckers claims that Fudd is a better shooter than her. Geno says she has the footwork of a pro. She's a great passer and works very hard on defense. She understands the team concept. A year ago there were those who pointed out that Bueckers hadn't done anything in college. Of course they were correct but Bueckers proved the overzealous posters (like myself) to be right about Bueckers. I'm sure that a lot of casual UConn fans will read about Fudd's shooting and think she is another KML or KLS but Fudd is so much more. What adjective is used to describe Fudd now that Bueckers has taken "generational"? I'm going to refer to her as "Fudd the transcendent" I believe that more than one transcendent player is allowed.   Bueckers' talent lies in her creativity. Fudd's lies in her precision. Much like comparing Taurasi and Moore. We fans are doubly blessed. |
