Many smaller colleges have maintained elite mens programs. All it takes is an elite coaching staff and a few alumni with deep pockets. College is still the main training system for pro players and men will go anywhere they think will prepare them. Perhaps the same sort of thing could happen for women. Right now football rules but things change. With all the money in football corruption and scandal are guaranteed.

Right now football rules but things change. With all the money in football corruption and scandal are guaranteed. In the very short run (we hope!!!), basketball may suffer a bit because of fear of indoor crowds. But there is so very much talent in the women's game right now, and, as you say, football has its clear problems, that it is easy (and very inexpensive) to promote WCBB.
