Maybe posted before, but worth looking at because UConn will need bigs by committee against the likes of South Carolina. Obviously, in high school her height allowed her to do things that will be contested in college. But I'm struck by her overall athleticism, fluidity, and pass-first attitude that will work great when UConn goes high post (which it prefers to do against man-to-man defense). Her footwork will come with practice, but the raw material is definitely there. Probably not ready to defend seasoned bigs yet, so playing time at first will be with the scrubs. But maybe near the end of this season? And definitely a great future at UConn. Pairing her with Aaliyah would be an awesome combo. A bit undersized against SC and Stanford (after Betts next year), but only a little.
