Azzi plays exactly UConn ball. She was made for UConn and UConn was made for her. Doesn't force anything. Doesn't dribble around (like a couple of others). Crisp movements, crisp passing. Just the perfect UConn guard.

55-19 at the half.... Fudd and Deberry 7-7 for 17 points... Egypt has had 8 shots blocked... they are 6-34 or 17%... Interestingly, USA went with 4 guards and Ware to start. Egypt got 4 quick offensive boards and USA brought in Betts (10 rebounds) and then DeBerry. USA sticking to 2 bigs now... Egypt does not have another o board...  |

USA playing very effective zone most of 2nd half... lots of steals and Egypt can't get good shots... Azzi looked very good in the zone...
USA now 10 blocks and 10 steals... 31 assists on 34 baskets... USA looking to pass a bit more...
Clark 2-6 for 6 pts... quiet game..but 8 assists

USA took out all the height and Egypt just got 4 offensive boards... DeBerry with a nice put back... finishes with 6 pts (3-3) and 3 boards.. Final score 97-36... free goulash was only if USA got to 100...  (because they are playing in Hungary) |
