Sue whiping away a tear after getting her medal. Crying during the anthem. Ditto Aja.
Kara was incredible. She’s a big time coach now and doesn’t have to be that effusive. But she’s got such a big heart.

So happy for all of Team USA, but especially for Sue and Dee. Incredible how, at their age, they can play at such a high level. They both had solid games and played a lot of minutes. Sue admitted she was exhausted and has said this is her last Olympics. Despite Dee’s “see you in Paris”, she knows that isn’t going to happen, and it is just Dee being Dee. Time for them to stand aside and bask in the glow of their accomplishment and let the youth try to match their astounding record. I am not sure it can be done. Maybe Paige has a chance?

I loved the exchanges between Dee and Hovasse (who had been an assistant coach with the Mercury).

Maybe Paige has a chance? don't rule out Stewie. She was a "too young" in Rio. Harder maybe for a forward.

I watched it all live on something we used to call a television. :-) Actually, in the AirBnB we rented in VT, there were FIVE TVs and only two of us....

We had a similar setup in Kauai. 4 bedrooms, 5 TVs none of them turned on during our one week stay. Probably because Mai Tais distort the video.
