This was just unbelievable. This man is definitely sick.
The player he is talking about is incoming freshman Brooklynn Miles.
I supported this girl through her AAU coach for weeks
I posted on social media about wanting to see her in a Lady Vol uniform and my support for this kid,,,Some of my tweets/posts about her reached several thousands of views
She got signed
I saw a game on NFHS network where she continually walked down the court and was the last one down.
It wasn't a tired look it was a disinterested one
I DM'd this to her:
"Last one down the court won't get it done....You looked tired from the opening minute....Let's pick it up at USJN Midwest Summer Showcase. . . You got me!...People will be watching you now, it is time to shine, "Beamer."
She blocked me without a word. And not one since.
Folks, I don't post here as a fan, I post as a coach. PERIOD! I don't post to make friends. Even my most ardent ally on here, @gametime, and I have knocked heads... I am the coach that is next to impossible to impress, brutally honest if asked to be so and and one of elite status and level. I have coached over 2,000 girls in my lifetime and have seen better than 10% of them go on to play college level BB, a couple in the U-16/7/8 USA teams,,some in the pros and have even worked with one who played in the Olympics,,,so if you're waiting on me to drop my values, on anything,,,you'll be waiting a very long time.
In all of my 40+ years of coaching there are only 3 girls that come to mind that I would never coach again and probably never want to be coached by me. You'd be hard pressed to find any more than that.
That said, if one critique can alienate me from weeks of dialect, I have to see proof that one from her NOW coach doesn't net the same result.

I don't speak Vol, but I was under the impression that Coach Jumper was a Husky fan in orange. Is that right? (not that it excuses anything!!)

He's mostly full of himself. He has a terrible inferiority complex, and feels the need to constantly boast about the players (and parents of players) who he speaks to. Coach J also is delusional about his accomplishments in the world of basketball. I remember one conversation that he had where Coach J refused to admit that Al Brown Al Brown's coaching history: goduke.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/coaches/al-brown/354is a more accomplished women's basketball coach then Coach J is. This despite the fact that J has never coached a women's basketball team !! He lives in a world occupied by only his imagination. |

That is one delusional puppy. Sad. Who knows if he is even really a coach.
And to DM a kid like that is probably a violation of some NCAA rule. Of course she blocked him, whether or not his observation was realistic.
Something seriously wrong if a person needs that much ego-stroking in an anonymous (sort of) on-line forum.

He is utterly sick. The kind of person who would start a house on fire so he could run in a get credit for saving people. I've been reading himfor years and he is a wingnut.

Down right creepy. Good for her for blocking him. I really think the guy is a psychopath. Here are key signs, with CJ's tendencies in bold:
Glibness/superficial charm
Grandiose sense of self-worth - to the Nth degree
Need for stimulation/proneness to boredom
Pathological lying - maybe he is just making up some of the things he says he does and his "achievements"
Conning/manipulative - probably
Lack of remorse or guilt - he seems to fail to understand that he creeped her out, or overstepped his bounds. How DARE she block him over one critical DM?
Shallow affect (i.e., reduced emotional responses) - Okay, this one doesn't fit. He definitely has strong emotional responses
Callous/lack of empathy - See lack of remorse or guilt
Parasitic lifestyle - Don't know his full lifestyle, but he is a parasite to student athletes for sure
Poor behavioral controls - Why DM a kid who you don't even know
Promiscuous sexual behavior - No clue on this one - and I honestly do not want to know
Early behavioral problems - Again, no clue on this one
Lack of realistic, long-term goals - Well, we all know that he has a long term goal to be THE coach of the LVs. But it is not realistic.
Impulsivity - Again, why DM a kid you don't even know just to satisfy your own ego and show how much you know
Irresponsibility - One could argue on whether reaching out to kids you don't know to offer unsolicited advice and critique is responsible
Failure to accept responsibility for one's own actions - Having a kid block you after "one" critical DM is her fault? Maybe she just finally got creeped out by all his DMs and that one put her over the edge. Nah, that couldn't be it.
Many short-term marital relationships - No Clue
Juvenile delinquency - No Clue
Revocation of conditional release (from prison) - No Clue
Criminal versatility (i.e., commits diverse types of crimes) - No Clue
Psychopathy is a spectrum disorder and can be diagnosed using the 20-item Hare Psychopathy Checklist, which features traits such as lack of empathy, pathological lying, and impulsivity, each scored on a three-point scale based on whether the item does not apply (0), applies to a certain extent (1), or fully applies (2) to the individual. The bar for clinical psychopathy is a score of 30 or higher; serial killer Ted Bundy scored 39. By my count he scores a 22. So maybe not a full psychopath. But plenty creepy nonetheless.

Way back when he was beating his drum to be allowed to be an off season trainer for Lady Vol players. He harassed the Lady Vols (aka Pat) with various communications leading to them refusing his communications and alerting security to bar him from their premises.
