Well, we know she's incredibly popular, a phenom. Here's a good metric. Go to this UConn Instagram page. www.instagram.com/uconnwbb/scroll over the photos and see how many likes each gets. Paige gets significantly more than even other Huskies. It's a virtuous circle: the more she's "liked," the more UConn will feature her, etc.

Even in my brief views of her this past season (as you know, I rarely watch UConn games except against the best competition) - I noticed:
- She was a joy to watch play - highly skilled, a key to the team's success, clearly the best player on the court.
- She has charisma. Its hard to define - and I know I can't - but she has it. Aari had it for Arizona; the freshman phenom that left Rutgers for NC State had it; it isn't unheard of, but there are (conversely) teams whose star doesn't have it.
- She is heavily marketed - by ESPN, by UConn (as you say), etc.
At this point is likely to be one of the most popular UConn players ever. Like Lobo, Bird, Taurasi etc.
