Apples and oranges. Compare the bucks associated with the men's program with the nickels associated with the women's program. Much of the difference is "outside" money. Both have the same $300K base and if Baranczyk could get the same outside deals her pay would have been higher.

That's stuff the university lines up for the coach that the coach would do anyway for the school and state. Geno has precisely the same type of package. It's just an accounting work around so that a public university doesn't have to list a wildly high salary. It's only apples and oranges because Oklahoma says they are. If they decided it was peaches and nectarines, then the salaries would be a lot closer. Like UConn, Baylor, LSU, South Carolina, Duke, Stanford, ND, Louisville, TX, etc. etc.
