The ones whom Geno is really saying amazing things about Dorka and Azzi. He's basically saying they are ready to star in the WNBA. And they weren't even on the team last year!!
The player for whom we have high expectations but looks to have the steepest learning curve is Amari. But bigs always take the longest time to develop.

From everything Geno has said since the beginning of the summer session, and basing it only on what he's said, right now it looks to me like a nine player rotation. As I see it, the nine are E, Liv, CW, Paige, Nika, Aaliyah, Azzi, Dorka and Caroline. Fortunately the walking wounded still have several months to heal before fall practice. We did not know about Mir's knees or Saylor's back before Thursday, hopefully they will heal and have a real chance to show what they can do.

So, we have a 10 player rotation, right? Of course, Geno likes to have no more than a 7 player rotation going toward the tournament. Something's got to give....

In any case, I think a "top 7" would include them, Liv, Aaliyah, and Dorka. I think those are the 7 horses he rides into final couple of games of the season (hopefully an NC). What I can't wait to see is Aaliyah and Dorka on the floor together, with any 3 of the 4 above. What an incredibly fast team! |

Yep Aubrey too, I didn't realize he had said anything about her till after I posted, shoot or your coming out sounds like what he told someone else last year. 10 it is, which would be a lot for him. It won't be 10 by February. Back to 7 or 8. What a collection of talent this is. I'd buy it if practice was on pay-per-view.
