UConn WCBB Team and more: “It’s going good,” Auriemma said Thursday. “I’m pleasantly surprised at the level of work that they’ve put in, both in the weight room, with their strength and conditioning, with all the drills and everything that we’ve done on the court. The improvement from June 1 to today has been significant. You can see it in pretty much every player. And it’s only going to get better, provided they stick with it throughout the rest of summer. But now when you throw in September, October, November, it’s going to just keep getting better and better and better.” Auriemma called it a “much more competitive situation” than the team has had in recent years, but said the players are aware that they’re going to have to earn their playing time. Who is the most improved player over the course of the summer session in the eyes of the coaching staff? According to Auriemma, it’s freshman Caroline Ducharme. “She’s got a huge chip on her shoulder about a lot of things, and I like that,” Auriemma said. “She’s pissed.” www.courant.com/sports/uconn-womens-basketball/hc-sp-uconn-women-geno-team-updates-20210702-llk5gx5gtvdh3ohpmzy2ugeleu-story.html

And let's remember that she beat Azzi in the 3 point competition. She's a real tweener physically. Hard to work in, but, once in, hard to take out.

With Fudd Ducharme & Bueckers competing will any mens team players enter the 3 pt shooting contest at 1st night??? I don't think there's any real question that the 3 of them could compete successfully with any 3 men in the country in 3-shooting.
