Does anyone remember Amy Hughes? She was a freshman in 95-96, she did play, then she transferred after one year. The mystery is she doesn’t appear in the roster on the list of games on video and also does not appear in the annual media guides.

She is listed in the 2019-2020 Media Guide, but only under the listing of "All Time Jersey Numbers" for #4. It is odd that there is no other reference of her in the entire media guide.

Good catch I hadn’t noticed that. I sent an email to Peggy Myers who said she would pass it along. News articles at the time don’t indicate that Geno was mad at her, so I doubt it is a deliberate erasure of history like Trotsky in the USSR.

I believe she is a high school coach in Ohio, a recent article had her and her father coaching together at somewhere named Portsmouth if it is the right Amy Hughes. It is certain that Amy, after transferring to Xavier, became a high school coach immediately after her graduation there.
