Note the name of the building behind the team. This is part of the ugly politics of our world. I am fairly far to the left politically, but what the Democratic governor of CT did to a distinguished Republican donor to UConn was just plain wrong. In response, the UConn Trustees rightly honored him and his wife. Here are the final details, which have been unwinding for months in other news outlets: www.middletownpress.com/middletown/article/UConn-to-name-Hall-of-Champions-for-trustee-15087980.php

Better yet, record the final Oh Canada to give the impression that they sang the whole song and edited all but the triumphant conclusion.

Has anyone else spotted that Paige is out of her boot and walking normally? What caught my eye was 5 of them were tromping around in socks. And it looks like Paige has a brace of some sort on her right ankle.

Less singing practice (if that's possible) and more shooting practice. Looking good ladies.

Less singing practice (if that's possible) and more shooting practice. Looking good ladies. Especially free throw practice. If I had to pick just one thing I want to see the team as a whole improve on over last year is free throw shooting. Last year was cringe worthy in this part of the game.

What I see is a great group of kids, as usual. I still think SC has more overall talent but our first 6 have enormous potential and all appear to be of high character.

They may have more talent, but we have a better coaching staff. So let's call it a draw. Gonna be quite a next four years.

And let's not forget who actually won this year. Stanford is really on a roll, too. You don't need a "top" recruiting class...just the one or two pieces.
