Just my obsession, I guess, but why aren't all Huskies vaxxed who are medically able? There is increasing evidence of lingering heart problems for athletes (and I would bet the rest of us, too) who have had C-19.
Auriemma said he expected “all but a couple” players to be fully vaccinated upon arrival. Because of that, the team won’t need to start in small pods again. This should make for a smoother transition back to basketball.
“Now we’re planning for our whole team to be here instead of, ‘Hey, we’ve got three sessions today, three groups of four,’” Auriemma said.
Per recommendations from the NCAA’s COVID-19 Medical Advisory Group, Tier 1 individuals who are fully vaccinated will be exempt from routine testing and allowed to participate in team workouts immediately. Those who aren’t will be required to test out of quarantine.

It's possible that some are coming from states where the vaccine isn't available yet for their age group. I don't know what the
CT position is now on students from out of state.
Also, what if a player opts not to get the shots?

somewhere, I think everyone had had at least started, but one or two may not have reached the two weeks after final shot mark to be considered fully vaccinated. No specific details, though.

Absolutely no indication that any of the tier 1 group are considering skipping or delaying vaccination.
