sooooooooo fantastic!
I know it's partly her forward perspective, but doesn't Dorka look a lot taller than the rest?
And thinking that on only one leg Paige could still take 'em.....

Oh, I'd love to hear Paige coaching them in pick up games. This is going to be fun!

The Team Boss shows up to see the newbies settled. Azzi has the weight of that Big #1 ranking and the fantastic freshman year of her best bud, so no wonder she's nervous.

Question. It seems most high schools are in session for the next few weeks. Do these girls get to leave early? Is there any transition time from the end of their senior year till move in day?
Also if there on campus june1, do they get to go home at all over the summer or are those kids on campus till the end of the basketball season?

According to local news reports - the new ones are either done with classes/exams, or their semesters are are over already. I have seen that several of them will be going home at various points this month for Prom and/or graduation ceremonies. There is a gap of a few weeks between summer session and the usual return time for athletes. Traveler restrictions are considerably eased from LY also.

I can tell you definitively in New York state you are NOT done with school on Memorial Day. At a minimum you have 2 weeks of classes, finals, and Regents exams. If you take classes like Calculus, Physics, 4th year language, etc you WILL take Regents. NYS has cut this year's Regents to "core" classes due to Covid but if you take a Regents exam it counts for a substantial portion of the grade. In the running for Valedictorian/Salutatorian? Better believe you are not leaving early in NY state, D1 school full shot or not.

Back when I was in high school in Nebraska, we never went to school after Memorial Day. Of course that was ... many years ago. 🤣

Graduation this year was on May 15. Last day of school was May 26. Then again, the first day of school is August 13. Different parts of the country have different schedules.

She is 6/4 but looks really strong too. How many years potential does she have? 1 or 2? This from the announcement back when we got her:
On Monday, UConn women’s basketball added Dorka Juhász, a 6-foot-4 graduate transfer from Ohio State, to its already-stacked roster. With the addition of Juhász heading into the 2021-22 season, the Huskies will have something their roster has been lacking for the past few seasons: Depth in the frontcourt.
Juhász averaged a double-double at Ohio State in her junior season and earned All-Big Ten First Team honors twice. She excels the most is on the glass, averaging 11.1 rebounds per game in 2020-21, up from just over nine in her first two seasons with the Buckeyes.
Her strength on the glass is evident on both ends of the floors. Last season she rebounded nearly 14 percent of Ohio State’s missed shots while on the floor and 22 percent of opponents’, both of which ranked in the top four percent of the nation.

She has theoretically 2 more years, I believe: her senior year and her "Covid bonus" year. But, if she plays well this year, she will be in great demand next year as a professional. She'd be sort of nuts to stay. But then again, Evina did.
